I know, I know, you've all been wondering. I mean, after I told you I wasn't Beyoncé, I know you were wondering just which celebrity I was.
But, I mean, the differences are obvious, aren't they? Kourtney Kardashian is 9 weeks pregnant and sending out press releases. She says "You're supposed to wait 12 weeks to tell people, but I feel confident." And, her boyfriend says "It wasn't like we weren't trying," ... "We kind of just said, 'If it's meant to be, it'll be.'"
Me? I'm 10 weeks pregnant with lots and lots and lots of trying and we haven't even told my husband's parents much less sent out a press release. I think I'll wait until 16 weeks to send out the press release. I mean, you gotta give the tabloids a chance to speculate about bumps, right? Build up that buzz so you can sheepishly confirm it later. I don't know what she was thinking announcing so quickly. Without the buzz, no one really cares. Oh, probably just trying to distract from her sister.
Must be a nice world to live in, huh?
Glad to see she is being so sensitive to her infertile sister. Ugh. Sorry bad day.
ReplyDeleteI hate Kardashians. And by hate I mean, I have never watched their show, know nothing about them and want to keep it that way and still find them to be the most vapid and irritating group of women on the face of the Earth. I'm so glad you're not one of them.
ReplyDeleteSo annoying! I even hate when my friends announce on facebook right after they see the second line. AT LEAST wait until you've hit the second trimester!!! Even if I wasn't infertile...I would still wait till 14 weeks. I waited till 19 weeks to let everyone know!

ReplyDeleteI second Oak. I mean, who are the Kardashians again?? What have they done for the benefit of the society that we have to see so much of their annoying family? I waited until I was 14 weeks to announce, and would have waited even longer but it was impossible to hide it after that point. Happy and healthy nine (well eight) months to you!

ReplyDeleteI can't stand her!!! I feel so sorry for Khloe. Thankfully they aren't that big over here. When Kim came out after her "divorce" everyone in Oz was like who the hell is this chick, we don't care and no one is interested. She got no love from us!!

ReplyDeleteTell people your good news when you're good and ready. I've found with this pregnancy that people are too polite to even state the obvious. I'll be 16 weeks on Tuesday and I still haven't said anything to people at work even though I'm wearing nothing but maternity clothes and it looks like I swallowed a pumpkin.

ReplyDeleteUgh...the Kardashians. What pisses me off is that it is her second child with her boyfriend - apparently they do not feel a need to make a commitment in order to bring children into the world...ugh!
