Not a good time to mess with me

Dear whiny students, complaining colleagues, super fertile b*****s, and idiots who bring their kids to work:

I've got a migraine, I have cramps, I slept about 5 hours last night and AF just showed up for the 17th unwelcome time.  I just made two phone calls that sucked the life out of me: scheduling a CD3 u/s for Wednesday and, one that makes this week so crappy I feel like I might pass out, scheduling an appointment to have my beautiful, sweet cat put down Tuesday.

I don't want to hear that you've got a cough so couldn't study.  I don't want to hear that you couldn't make it to the exam because you stubbed your toe.  I don't want to hear your complaints about your wife and your children who are just so demanding of your time.  I don't want to hear how you didn't *mean* to get pregnant.  And, most importantly, I do not want to hear your damn child cooing down the hall.

Get out of my way and don't mess with me.

It is not a good week.

Sincerely and with much appreciation,

Rebecca

  1. I'm so sorry about your kitty. Hoping today goes by fast.. I would hate to have to deal with a baby in my office.

As for the unwelcomed b$%&tch, she totally sucks and I am sorry she is here and with the worst possible timing:(
I am praying and hoping this next one will be our turn, Twinnie! Hope you feel better soon!
    Much love your ways.

  3. I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty! It's so hard to lose part of the family.

I don't think I would be able to deal with a baby in the office at all. I hate pretending to be interested in them.

I'm sorry about the overall crappy timing this month!

    Big hugs!

  4. UGH! What a Monday you've had. I was so hoping to check in today and see a BFP announcement! And I'm so sorry about your cat. This is a lot to deal with at once. The lady with the baby seriously needs to close her door, or as you said before, GET A SITTER off campus! Goodness. It's not that hard. I work in a coporate office and there is NO WAY we'd get away with bringing our children into the office--with or without a babysitter... even if you had a babysitter.

But, anyway, back to the stuff... Please do something comforting for yourself this week. And maybe every day this week. You've been a trooper through all of this, and I know it's wearing on you. Sending you HUGE hugs.

  5. Oh Rebecca, I'm sorry that AF showed and I'm SO sorry about your kitty. Any chance you can find your way to a margarita tonight?!?! CD1 is a call for a marg or some flowers for the house...especially when combined with whiney people and bunches of other stuff {{{HUGS}}}

  6. I hope that you got your wish and that all this senseless blather around you stopped. People really generally take things for granted. I hate random complaining to anyone who will listen and not to a selected audience (like us!)

More importantly though, I'm incredibly sorry about your kitty. (((HUGS))) You are in my thoughts. I can't imagine how tough that will be.
